Hey, My name is Wendy Ha

A postgraduate in Data Science with competence in Data Science and Software Engineering. I am comfortable with Data Analytic, Data Viz, Machine Learning, Statistic, and Back-end Development. Currently, I am actively seeking Data-related job opportunities.

About Me "I am a rising Computer Science junior @Swinburne University, Victoria, AU also a first-generation student. I love Data Science and being challenged by new Data Science problems."

Get to know me!

Hey! It's Wendy and I'm a Data Science enthusiast located in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. I've done some personal projects within several topics, varying from Data Analytic, Data Visualization to Machine Learning for both business and consumer use.

I'm a bit of an aesthetic nerd. What makes me happy is just a cup of coffee, a good Spotify indie playlist, and something to run on my Jupyter Notebook. Feel free to contact me here.

Project 2

(Data) Early Diabetes Risk Prediction In Females By Using Classification Machine Learning Model.

Recognizing the importance of early diabetes diagnosis, this project utilised the Pima Indians diabetic dataset from the machine learning repository at the University of California, Irvine to develop a supervised classification machine learning model.
Through the application of data science, this initiative aims to assist medical practitioners in increasing the life expectancy of women in the community.

Project 4

(Data) Analyzing Success And Dropout Rates In Portugal's Higher Education.

This project discusses the methods involved in combining, cleaning, and exploratory analysis of the “Predict student dropout and academic performance” data set. This data collection was generated by four scientists, Realinho, Machado, Baptista, and Martins, from the Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre (IPP), Portugal.
The purpose to develop a system that would allow for the early identification of students who may face academic difficulties, in order to implement support strategies

Project 5

(Data) An Investigation On The Factors That Contribute To Global Inequitable Access To The Covid-19 Vaccination

In relation with the development of COVID-19 vaccines by the end of 2020, WHO partnered with UNICEF to introduce COVAX, a programme aimed at encouraging equal vaccine distribution in all countries, in which the wealthier nations commit to donating vaccine doses to poor ones (WHO Vaccine Equity 2020).

COVAX was an idealistic initiative. This project's first goal was to provide 1.4 billion vaccination doses to middle - low and low - income nations by the end of 2021 (WHO Vaccine Equity 2020). However, after COVAX was launched, it was difficult to guarantee that vaccines will be equally distributed over the world.

Project 6

(Data) Analyzing The Impact Of Vaccination On Human Lifespans In Developed And Developing Nations

Despite the fact that many research have been conducted in the past on factors impacting life expectancy, including demographic characteristics, income composition, and mortality rates, Max Roser emphasized on Our World In Data that the influence of vaccines has been overlooked (Max et al 2013).
